The VRT will be holding four Open Cockpit Days at Southend Airport this year on the following Sundays:

• 27th April 2008
• 29th June 2008
• 3rd August 2008
• 21st September 2008 

These Open Days are a great opportunity to view XL426 close-up.  There will be guided tours of the aircraft, a chance to speak to the crew and find out more about the Vulcan and the Vulcan Restoration Trust.

Gates open at 10am; last admission at 4pm.  Refreshments will be provided and licensed bar facilities are available next door at Aviator's Bar and Restaurant.

VRT Open Cockpit days are a great way to get close to the Vulcan and support her upkeep

Car Parking will be available in the Airport - please follow the signs and do not use the Airport public car parks.
