 This Saturday (26th July), the VRT welcomes Wg Cdr J A 'Robby' Robinson, famous Avro test pilot and author to our July VRT Enthusiast Event. He will be telling us about his days test flying the Avro Vulcan at Woodford and we are delighted to be able to offer three of his books for sale on the day, signed by the author. |

 A poster for our Visit the Vulcan Days are available to download as a PDF file by clicking this link: Visit The Vulcan Poster . The VRT are sending out printed copies of this to all local tourist offices and museums but if you can print off a copy and put it in your local library, notice board, wherever, we would be exremely grateful!

Our meetings are open to the public and take place at Hawkwell Village Hall, Hawkwell, Essex. Our meetings feature a guest speaker from the world of aviation and the chance to hear the very latest news from the Vulcan Restoration Trust. Refreshments are available and a selection of our Vulcan souvenirs is on sale at each meeting. |

2008 Visit the Vulcan Days |

The VRT will be holding four Open Cockpit Days at Southend Airport this year on the following Sundays: - 27th April 2008
- 29th June 2008
- 3rd August 2008
- 21st September 2008
These Open Days are a great opportunity to view XL426 close-up. There will be guided tours of the aircraft, a chance to speak to the crew and find out more about the Vulcan and the Vulcan Restoration Trust. Gates open at 10am; last admission at 4pm. Refreshments will be provided and licensed bar facilities are available next door at Aviator's Bar and Restaurant. |

On 5-6 July, the VRT Stand will be at the Vulcan's spiritual home, RAF Waddington, for their International Air Show. More details about the show can be found at their website www.waddingtonairshow.co.uk. |
